DENTAL BONDING IN MISSISSAUGA

"Get Beautiful Smile and Confidence by Getting Rid of Tooth Imperfections”

HIDE TOOTH CRACKS AND CHIPS WITH DENTAL BONDING

If you have a chipped, cracked, unshapely, or discoloured tooth, or require small cosmetic changes, a cosmetic dental procedure like bonding can be a good option for you!

Dental bonding is a non-invasive way to hide chips or cracks in your teeth, camouflage your discoloured tooth, or change the shape of your tooth. Cosmetic bonding can close small gaps in between teeth and also increase the size of a tooth. For example, maybe you have a tooth that’s shorter than the rest, and you want them all to be the same length. Dental bonding can also be used to build up older teeth to make them appear younger.

Visit our dental office today to find out more about how dental bonding can help give your smile new life!

THE DENTAL BONDING TREATMENT PROCESS AND WHAT TO EXPECT

Tooth bonding is a procedure where we apply a tooth-coloured composite resin matching the colour of your teeth to one or more of your teeth to repair damage. It is the same material that is used to fill tooth cavities, replace old silver fillings or protect teeth exposed to gum recession.

We roughen the surface of your tooth and apply a conditioning liquid to ensure that the bonding material sticks to your tooth. We apply several layers of resin to each tooth and harden each layer under ultraviolet light or laser. We then mould, shape and polish the resin material, and make any final adjustments so the finished tooth looks natural, smooth and shiny.

DENTAL BONDING AFTERCARE

Proper hygiene - brushing your teeth twice a day with soft toothbrush and flossing between teeth at least once a day, is required for dental bonded teeth like your other teeth.

You may need touch ups to your dental bonding every 3 to 10 years due to staining or minor chipping.
